We opened in our new space at 8519 Georgia Ave. on Saturday August 8, 2009. We had live music by local Silver Spring musicians Icarus, Bill Williams and Little Pink. People welcomed us back to Silver Spring with lots of smiles, and champagne, beer, cider and snacks -- a good time was had by all! And a well deserved break and pat on the back to all the wonderful and dedicated volunteers who have given so much of their time to this venture!
